What do you do for self-care?   Here are my blog sponsors with their answers! (Click on their pics to be taken to their blogs/businesses/sites!) Patty of The Plaid Cupcake: I make sure to do a little bit of self-care everyday by indulging in small things that make me happy like iced coffee and watching Ellen. When I first started working for myself, I thought I had to deprive myself of anything that wasnt strictly work, but Ive come to find Im much more productive the rest of the day if I give myself a break, or treat myself to a beer with lunch. Im also a big proponent of leaving Fridays open for self-care activities like haircuts, pedicures, or a trip to the shore! Gabriella of Green Home Today: When it comes to self-care, there is only one thing I do consistently.   Each afternoon, I block one hour for myself with tea, a little treat (admittedly, not always healthy), a book or a journal, and I just reconnect.   It took me a long time to realize that I dont have to wait for the weekend or for a special occasion to take time for myself.   I love waking up in the morning knowing there will be some me time later in the day. Stacy of  Stacy Kathryn: When it comes to self-care I try to make sure that at least one day a week I take the day or night off from the internet, and just do what I want. Ive also gotten back to running, and find that exercise is the best self care we can give stressed out selves. What do *you* do for self-care?  I wanna compile the biggest list ever! - Wanna be a sponsor? Shoot me an email at michelle@whenigrowupcoach.com and IĆ¢€™ll shoot ya the info! Figuratively, of course.
